Avia no.1

This has been the first prototype.
In a prospect of the company mentioned as Avia 1956
With this prototype severe tests have been done. Even an unforeseen crash-test....
Remarkable is that on the pictures which exist from this car there are differences in details. It seems there have been 2 different bodies used or they modified the body during testing.
This first prototype has a different body than the next 9 produced cars. Also there are indications that the position of the engine is later on moved somewhat more backwards. The no.1 had the engine before the rear-wheels, later models showed an engine positioned in between the rear-wheels.

This car also took part in one of the 1st May parades as can be seen on the picture below :

On this picture can be seen that the side window is different, and also it seems that the sliding mechanism of the roof is positioned higher. Maybe they found during testing the entrance not very comfortable and modified body and roof for a better entrance.
